This qualification is aimed at those undertaking the role of an emergency first aider in the workplace.
What this course is about:
This qualification meets the requirements for Emergency First Aid at Work as outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Learners undertaking this qualification may wish to progress to the QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF).
This qualification meets the requirements for Emergency First Aid at Work Training as outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Learners will undertake:
Learners will be assessed using a multiple-choice question paper and practical observation. The test paper has 15 questions and a pass mark of 70% candidates have 30 minutes to complete the test. The practical sections will consist of candidate demonstrations of skills and be assessed by a tutor.
Upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a Level 3 in Emergency First Aid.
This course is for those in a work environment who wish to upskill and play a supporting role for those who may need first aid in an emergency at work.
This course has a duration of 3 days of learning with the tutor from 9 am to 6 pm.
There are 8 self-study hours in which candidates will work alone at home to complete a unit using course handbooks and the Bridge Training LMS.
